Somalia: Two al-Shabab journalists were killed in an attack on a town or Tiyeegloow

MOGADISHU, Somalia – Officials from the Lower Shabelle province administration confirmed to the media that there were journalists from Al-Shabaab radio station Andalos who died in an attack on the town of Tiyeegloow.

According to local sources, the death of five journalists from Al-Shabaab radio station Andalos in an attack by US forces on the radio headquarters in the town of Tiyeegloow from the province of Lower Shabelle.

Al-Shabaab announced that it had failed an attack by US forces on their bases in the town of Tiyeegloow, and declared that they had suffered a terrible defeat.

Al-Qaeda-linked al-Shabab has not claimed any casualties from the US attack on its bases in the Lower Shabelle province.

The new US government led by Trump recently announced that it is intensifying its attacks on the fighters of al-Shabaab and its leaders in Somalia.
