Somalia: Somali President Named new deputy Mayor of Mogadishu

The new deputy of Mogadishu mayor Mohamed Ahmed Dirie

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamuud appointed Mohamed Ahmed Dirie to become deputy chairman for political affairs of Banaadir regional administration on Wednesday.

The new deputy of Mogadishu mayor Mr Mohamed Ahmed Dirie was replaced by former deputy mayor of Mogadishu Mohamed Adan Guled who dead in an attack by al-Shabab fighters on a luxury HOTEL IN THE Somali capital Mogadishu.

Mr Hassan Sheikh Mohamud Somali president appointed Mr Mohamed Ahmed Dirie for this position after propose from Minister of Interior and Federal Affairs of Somalia Abdirahman Mohamed Hussein and The Chairman of the Banadir regional administration and the mayor of Mogadishu Hassan Mohamed Hussein to important that he becomes deputy mayor of Mogadishu.

Somali president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud wished the new deputy of Mogadishu mayor and deputy chairman for political affairs of Banadir regional administration Mr Mohamed Ahmed Dirie to perform his new responsibility.

Mohamed Ahmed Dirie the new deputy of Mogadishu mayor was the son of Ahmed Dirie Ali one of famous Traditional Elders of Hawiye in civil-war who was once spokesman of Hawiye Traditional Elders  a major group of local clan leaders.
