The Commanders of the Somali Prison Warden, Marine and Air force have on Friday paid visit to General Kahiye Police training academy in Mogadishu, and by the time of their visit there was an ongoing police training.

These trio commanders were cordially received in the training camp by their counterpart of the Somali Police force General Mohamed Sheikh Hassan Hamud other senior police officers, and the famous police band “Heegan” which has sung a union song for the Somali forces.

The Commander of the Somali air force brigadier Mohamoud Sheikh Ali aka rifleman pilot speaking on behalf of the Somali Military commander has said that the Somali Police force is the mother of the nation, and the police have made tremendous development.

“Speaking on behalf of the Somali Military commander Field Marshal Mohamed Aden Ahmed, I would like to confess that the Somali Police force has made tangible progess, and I know they have under gone several challenging stages which they have all overcome” said Somali air force commander General Rifleman Pilot.

Brigadier Bashir Mohamed Jama aka Bashir Goobe the commander of the Somali Prison Warden has pledged to bring 100 old fashion rifles which are made by the inmates in the central jail and will be used by the trained police solders for parades, chairs and tables for the under recruit soldiers to learn.

The Police commander of the Somali Police force brigadier Mohamed Sheikh Hassan Hamud has as well taken his time to addressed the under recruit soldiers and briefed his counterparts who visited him about the current status of the Somali Police.

“We are now engaged in efforts to advance the capacity and the quality of the Somali Police force, and expecting the police to operate in the international standard of the police, we conducted trainings for the officers and the riflemen of the police” said General Hamud the Somali Police commander.

It is the first time ever for Somali trio Somali commanders to visit a police training session in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
