Somali Football Federation has launched a redevelopment project of its Technical Centre which is aimed at enlarging the facility. The redevelopment project is being funded under the FIFA Forward Program.
The first phase of the FIFA-funded project was the construction of the center with an artificial turf installed, while the second phase is to increase the stadium capacity, according to the president of Somali Football Federation, Abdiqani Said Arab.
“The second phase of the redevelopment project consists of three chapters which includes the construction of a beautiful VIP area, as the current VIP is not enough” the president explained.
“The tribune will be enlarged, so that the number of seats of the Technical centre stadium will be increased and as well as more rooms will be added to the dressing rooms area. This is a huge project and I am thankful to FIFA for this great move forward” Somali Football Federation president, Abdiqani Said Arab said as he addressed at the launch ceremony of the redevelopment project on 3rd of January.
